Life Skills Practitioner
4.5 hours every other Saturday (26 weeks per year)
from £14.38 per hour (£12.50 plus 15% for Saturday working)
Our life skills programme, STRIDE is for young people under 25 with a range of disabilities and needs and runs for each cohort for six months across West Essex. Currently running in Stansted, this programme will move in the Summer to a new location in Harlow. This is a lovely role within an established team supporting our members to learn a variety of life skills.
Ideally with experience of working with young people with additional needs, you will assist the members to get the most from the fortnightly sessions.
If you have great communication skills, a passion for learning and the ability to travel across West Essex, you are the special someone we are looking for.

Deputy Scheme Co-ordinator, U19 Youth Club
Alternate Monday evenings in Saffron Walden and Wednesday evenings in Great Dunmow (5.45 – 8.45pm) – 6 hours every other week, term-time only
£14.00 per hour
We are looking to recruit a Deputy Co-ordinator for our youth club for 11-19 year olds with a disability. The club runs alternate weeks during term-time.
With experience of working with children or young people with additional needs and ideally with a relevant qualification, you will have bags of enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills and previous experience of planning activities. You’ll be supported by a Scheme Co-ordinator and a great team of staff and volunteers.

Community Support Worker, Adult Projects, Harlow
3.5 hours every Wednesday evening (5.45-9.15pm), starting at £12.50 per hour
The group runs every Wednesday evening across Harlow to provide social evenings and small group activities. One week you could be baking, the next session a trip to the pub or a craft session in the area.
Ideally you will have experience of interacting with adults with additional needs. However, if you have bags of enthusiasm, great interpersonal skills and the desire to make a difference to the lives of our members, we can offer relevant training.
