Senior Play Worker, Saturday Play Club, Saffron Walden
4.5 hours per week (6.5 hours from September 24) Saturdays, term-time only
Starting at £12.00 per hour, uplifted by 15% for Saturday to £13.80 per hour
We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker for our established Saturday Play Club in Saffron Walden for 8-19 year olds with a range of disabilities and needs.
The club runs weekly during term time on a Saturday with hours of work being between 9.45am – 2.15pm until July.
The role involves working with the Scheme Co-ordinator and Deputy in the delivery and planning of activities, working within a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
You must have experience of working with children, ideally with a disability and you may also hold a relevant qualification (level 2 or above). You should have good interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and a good team player.

We are looking to recruit a Play Worker for our established Saturday Play Club in Saffron Walden for 8–19-year-olds with a range of disabilities and needs.
The club runs weekly during term time on a Saturday with hours of work currently being 4.5 hours between 9.45am and 2.15pm.
The role involves working closely as part of a team of staff and volunteers to provide play, sensory activities and support to the children and young people attending the scheme.
Ideally with experience of working with children with learning or other disabilities, or be willing to undertake training, you need to be fun, enthusiastic and a good team player.
