Deputy Scheme Co-ordinator
Saturday Play Club, Saffron Walden
5 hours per week – term time only
Salary: £10.42 per hour
We are looking to recruit a Deputy Co-ordinator for our established Saturday Play Club in Saffron Walden for 8-19 year olds with a range of disabilities and needs.
The club runs weekly in term time on a Saturday morning with hours being 9.30am – 2.30pm.
You must have experience of working with children with a disability and ideally hold a relevant qualification (level 2 or above). With previous experience of planning activities and working in a team, you should have knowledge of safeguarding procedures, be enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Session Lead
Adult Projects Scheme
£10.42 per hour
Over the last six months we have added two new Adult Projects to our services – a young adult friendship scheme and a life skills programme, both aimed at those aged 19-25 across Uttlesford and Harlow.
We are delighted these have been successful and as a result, we are now looking for the following new posts:
Session Lead – Uttlesford (based in Saffron Walden), Tuesday 6-9.30pm
To attend and deliver our weekly sessions offering fun activities for adults with a disability to socialise and make friends in a supportive environment.
Working with our existing team of staff, the sessions will have been planned and your role is to lead and deliver the activities, ensuring they are safe, enjoyable and that appropriate supervision is in place at all times.
Session Lead – STRIDE, Saturdays, 9.30am – 2.30pm, alternate weeks – Harlow/Uttlesford
To attend and run the fortnightly sessions of our life skills programme which cover everything from household tasks, social and communication skills, healthy living and employability. The programme has recently run for six months in Harlow and is now due to start in Great Dunmow.
You will be supported by guest speakers and experts in the topic areas plus our existing team of staff.
To be successful in these roles, you must have experience of working with adults with a disability and ideally hold a relevant qualification. We are looking for applicants with excellent interpersonal skills, bags of enthusiasm and the desire to make a real difference.
In return we can offer you a flexible, rewarding part-time role to fit in with your other commitments. Appropriate training will be provided.
