On 30th December, some of our members are looking forward to enjoying a relaxed performance of the pantomime, Cinderella, at Saffron Hall in Saffron Walden.
The tickets have been very kindly gifted by Keri Wells, a sponsor of the show, who has donated additional funds to cover the cost for 83 Accuro members and their families to attend this special showing.
Adult Projects Manager and Community Engagement Officer, Luisa Bowden, discusses the collaboration with Saffron Hall..
“Back in July, I attended the Saffron Walden Community Day in my role as Community Engagement Officer at Accuro. We had a stall next to Saffron Hall. I got talking to the volunteers from the theatre and I explained that Accuro support people with a disability in West Essex. The volunteers then fed this information back to Tiffany, Saffron Hall’s Fundraising Manager, who approached us to tell us about the relaxed pantomime performance taking place later in the year. Tiffany explained that a sponsor wanted to provide an opportunity for people in the community to attend who would benefit from this type of performance. We are so incredibly grateful for this gesture, especially during the cost of living crisis, and we know our members and their families are going to have a great day out. Thank you very much”
Accuro want to thank Keri Wells for this incredibly generous gift which will bring some magic to our members and their families over the festive period. Accuro also want to thank Saffron Hall for their kindness, time and help in organising this trip to their wonderful theatre.
