Time for Fundraising!

The Covid-19 pandemic has made fundraising for charities like ours very difficult and now more than ever, we need your help!

Today,  we’re sharing five ways that you can fundraise in your spare time.  Whether you have a spare minute or could dedicate a little time every day for a week, we’re so incredibly grateful for your support.

If you have…

One Minute

Probably the quickest, easiest way to fundraise virtually is a Facebook Fundraiser! Simply head to Facebook and go to post a status as you usually would and under the options (the button should be a circle with three little dots!) you’ll find ‘Support non-profit’. From here, you can search Accuro and start collecting donations from your Facebook friends right away.

One Hour

If you have a little more time to spare – Ziffit is a great way to collect some extra cash to donate! Clear out your old books, DVDs and games and choose ‘Donate’ when you checkout. Search ‘Accuro’ to find us and the money from your pre-loved stuff will be donated directly to Accuro! It’s simple and means extra space in your home!

One Day

If you can spare a day, why not organise a virtual or socially distanced event for your friends or family! Our Fundraising Toolkits include instructions on how to put together a Quiz or Bingo Game that can be played virtually or in person. Donations can be collected from those playing

One Week

If you’d like to spread your fundraising over a longer period of time, why not trying a Challenge Week? You could Fundraise for our Mindful Miles ‘Anti-Challenge’ week between 11th-18th July or you could set your own challenge. You could have your friends sponsor you to do something fun, active or unusual every day for a week! For example, you could paint every day, sing and share a different song each day, run every day… The possibilities are endless!

One Year

This one won’t actually take you an entire year – we promise! But signing up to AmazonSmile and choosing to support Accuro means you’ll be generating donations FOR FREE every time you shop with Amazon!
