Zoe gained an interest in health and care through caring for family members and helping them with their specific needs. She continued to develop her knowledge through her professional work as a Higher Education fundraiser, business development professional and writer.

Zoe has worked closely with academic researchers in health, medicine and social care, helping them to translate their research and present their ideas to wider audiences. As part of this work, she helped to establish projects with partners in Essex to improve care services and benefit residents. As a resident of Essex herself, Zoe has first-hand experience of local services and was pleased to join Accuro as a Trustee in 2025.
