Simran has had professional careers in both accountancy and HR, and has qualified as both a qualified chartered accountant and as a chartered member of the professional HR body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  She has spent her time working within the professional services sector in London and Manchester, with her last role as Head of HR for a law firm.

Born and raised in Harlow, she has spent the past 15 years in Cheshire, returning to North Essex in 2014. In the 1990’s her mother was a volunteer carer for Harlow Shared Care for a number of years. Since moving back to Essex, Simran has been focused on settling her 2 daughters into their new schools and into their new community, renovating their Victorian home and welcoming Monty their beautiful golden retriever puppy into their family.
