We are just loving these summer evenings!
The Under 19s Club made the most of the sunshine this week with a trip to Bridge End Gardens. We enjoyed a wonderful evening for our first special extended Under 19s Club session in Saffron Walden on Monday night.
We headed to the park first, then members split into groups. Some went to play ‘Clock Cricket’, an accessible cricket style game suited to all abilities. The other half of the group went to the Walled Gardens, where they helped out with some gardening tasks for Nathan, the Senior Gardener at Bridge End.
We just loved visiting the stunning gardens and as it was such a lovely, sunny evening we had a picnic while we were there too! We then went off to play Cricket again before the evening finished.
A brilliant evening was had by all. Big thanks to Nathan at Bridge End Gardens and Richard at Clock Cricket.
