We asked Cool Connections Volunteer Amy about her experience at Accuro, here’s what she had to say…

“Choosing to volunteer for Accuro is one of the best decisions I have ever made, over the past three years I have seen the members blossom into amazing young adults. I go home from club every week with a smile on my face! I chose to volunteer at Accuro to gain confidence and it’s definitely helped, as well as doing something that helps people.
By having experience volunteering for Accuro on my CV I have gained job opportunities and was recently promoted to a Team Leader position at my new job because of how helpful I am with my customers, especially if they have additional needs as from my experience volunteering I know now how to cater for their needs.”
