Coronavirus Update

This message comes to you as we all try to grapple with the implications of the Coronavirus. Our key priority is to ensure that each of the clubs and schemes we run safeguards the health and safety of the children, young people and adults we support as well as our staff and volunteers.

We’ve stayed in close contact with our partners at Action for Children and Essex County Council and are operating within Government and Public Health England guidelines / advice. In the event of the government closing schools, Accuro clubs and activities will be cancelled and will not re-open until government advice has been received. Parents will be kept up to date with the latest information as soon as possible.

Although our Clubs may well have to temporarily close in the near future, we have many exciting programmes lined up for the future – ranging from a Harry Potter night and music sessions to woodwork skills, science experiments, a special debate night and cooking, amongst many others. Holiday Programmes have been planned and are in place but these will, if necessary, be carried out at a later date.

Further updates will be provided on our website and social media as and when things change.

We have no doubt that whatever comes our way, our Club members, parents, staff and volunteers will continue to be what our charity is all about – belonging, contributing and thriving together.
