Coronavirus Update

An Important Message to all our Club and Adult Friendship Scheme Members, Parents and Carers

COVID – 19 UPDATE – January 2021

We are writing to advise you that due to the high levels of COVID-19 cases across Essex and the significant rise in the spread of infection, Accuro has suspended face-to-face clubs for Children/Young People and Adults. We are committed to staying connected with Accuro families and we will be reviewing the situation constantly so that we can resume face-to-face services as soon as possible. We will keep families and members informed of services being offered at this time and of any further developments.
Take care, we look forward to seeing you as soon as it is safe to do so.

COVID – 19 UPDATE MAR 2020

In view of the Government’s recent announcement regarding the Coronavirus, and in line with their decision to close schools, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend all of Accuro’s activities with immediate effect.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow Government and Public Health England’s advice, but based on the most recent information we anticipate that activities will be suspended for a minimum of three months. We realise that this will have a significant impact on you, however, we hope you will understand that your health and safety, and that of our amazing staff and volunteer team, is our key objective. We are all determined to recommence our activities as soon as it is safe to do so.

This is a time of uncertainty and change but we know that we can rely on your on-going support for Accuro. Looking at the news, it’s hard not to be concerned about the impact of what is happening to all sections of our society. In the weeks ahead we will do our best to stay in touch with you by regular communication and social media. We are also looking at how we can continue to support you via ‘virtual’ activities and telephone contact.

Thank you all for being such a vital part of Accuro and please know that you and your families are all in our thoughts at this time.
