Nuffield Health in Bishop’s Stortford and Accuro (Care Services) hosted a successful charity event on 11th February to celebrate Autism Sunday. The day raised a fantastic £235.42. The fitness and wellbeing centre offered a free day’s membership, taster classes, free swimming for all the family and mini health M.O.T’s.
Instructor, Georgi Conrad hosted a Spinathon which saw members complete a gruelling one and half hour spinning session while raising money for the charity. In the evening, they hosted Clubbercise and Zumba classes at Baroosh bar in the Market Square.
Renata Istenes, Nuffield Health’s Deputy General Manager says, “Nuffield Health were delighted to collaborate with the Accuro charity and help raise over £200 for people with disabilities.”
Natalie Emuss, Accuro’s Business Development Manager said, “Thank you to all the members, guests and staff at Nuffield Health who took part in this special Accuro Day. The participants enthusiasm and efforts in the fundraising challenges are really appreciated. Accuro will be planning a similar event later in the year.”
