Accuro Seeks Trustees
(Unpaid – out of pocket expenses)
Accuro is a leading provider of a range of services for children and adults with a disability & their families who are resident in West Essex. We have been delivering high quality services for more than 30 years and are now seeking additional trustees to help us to both consolidate & to develop.
Accuro is a vibrant & dynamic registered charity and a company limited by guarantee that holds the Queens Award for Voluntary Services & which holds the nationally recognised Investors in Volunteers Award.
We now wish to recruit up to 3 new members to join our board of trustees who will assist Accuro in continuing to achieve its mission and to ensure that the organisation is effectively managed. In particular at this time we are interested in recruiting a Marketing and Communications trustee. We would also however welcome interest from people with other relevant skills/experience. We are very keen to maintain a diverse Board of Trustees and so welcome enquiries from all sections of the community.
If you are interested contributing to your local community then joining our board could be just the right opportunity for you. Accuro trustees all make a regular commitment, have strategic vision, independent judgement, the ability to think creatively and to express their opinions and share Accuro’s commitment to delivering high quality services that value the people who access them and their views.
Our trustees are highly valued & find the experience of contributing to Accuro very rewarding. Trustees are all volunteers though we are able to offer reimbursement of travel & other reasonable expenses. All new trustees will be provided with a detailed induction, have the opportunity to be mentored by one of our current, experienced trustees & have the opportunity to attend relevant training. For an informal discussion about this opportunity please contact our chair of trustees: David McConnell by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
