Saturday Club Fundraising

Saturday Play Club are very fortunate in having an active and committed group of fundraisers. A number of events are held each year. Past events have included a School Disco, Chocolate Tombola, Jumble Sale, Quiz Night, Music Evening with Joanna Eden and various Cake Sales.

In April this year, Peter O'Brien took part in the Ultra Marathon in the Australian outback and raised over £4000. This was an amazing achievement and we thank Peter for his immense effort.

Recent fundraising events include a Tandem Sky Dive where 11 'crazy' people volunteered to take part to raise money for us. We would like to thank them all for their brave efforts.

Waitrose Saffron Walden

We are delighted that Waitrose have chosen the Saturday Play Club as their 'Charity of the Year'. They will be holding various fundraising events throughout the year and will present the club with a cheque for the total raised. Staff from Waitrose recently visited the us and the Play Club children and staff really enjoyed meeting them.
